On a vote of 31-6, the Virginia Senate approved legislation yesterday that would create a ten-year comprehensive energy plan. The legislation, sponsored by Senator Frank Wagner (R), directs state agencies to prepare the plan by July 12, 2007. Included in the bill is a requirement that the State Corporation Commission (SCC) identify and evaluate potential sites for LNG facilities. ...
