County Re-Approves Land-Use Permit for Jordan Cove LNG Export Project Pipeline

County commissioners in Coos County, Ore., voted this week to re-approve a land-use permit for the Pacific Connector natural gas pipeline associated with the planned Jordan Cove LNG export project. The World (Coos Bay) reports that this week’s decision took into account the expected minimal impacts of the construction of the pipeline on local Olympia oysters.

Clearwater Port LNG Opponent Seeking State Assembly Seat

Susan Jordan, executive director of the California Coastal Protection Network, has announced she will run for the California State Assembly, according to the Santa Barbara Independent.  Her group opposed the Clearwater Port LNG facility planned off the coast of California.
