ConocoPhillips, Marathon, Dow Submit LNG Export Applications to DOE

ConocoPhillips and Marathon submitted an application to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Fossil Energy earlier this month requesting an extension to March 2013 of their blanket authorization to export LNG from the Kenai liquefaction facility in Alaska.
Separately, Dow Chemical also submitted an application requesting blanket authorization to export LNG from the Freeport LNG facility in Texas for a two-year period.
