USCG Denies Appeals of LORs for Oregon LNG Projects

The U.S. Coast Guard has denied appeals of Letters of Recommendation (LORs) for the Bradwood Landing LNG, Oregon LNG, and Jordan Cove LNG projects filed by the State of Oregon and the Pacific Environmental Advocacy Center. Rear Admiral G.T. Blore, Commander of the Thirteenth Coast Guard District, concluded that the LORs were “properly issued in accordance with the Coast Guard’s interpretation of the  applicable Federal statutes and regulations.” The letters denying the appeals are available in the FERC eLibrary under Docket No. CP06-365.
