City Council Considering Non-Binding Agreement with Jordan Cove Energy to Develop Emergency Plans

The Coos Bay City Council is scheduled to discuss a non-binding agreement with Jordan Cove Energy that would ensure that the city is reimbursed for additional emergency response training, equipment and personnel should the company’s planned LNG project move forward. However, Rodger Craddock, the Coos Bay acting city manager, reported to the Council that the agreement would not be a show of support for the project. Read more in The World.
