Port Extends Purchase Option with Jordan Cove Energy for Planned LNG Terminal Site

Last week the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay agreed to an eighteen-month extension of an option that would allow Jordan Cove Energy to purchase the site it plans to use for its LNG import and regasification terminal. Under the present timeline for the project, Jordan Cove Energy will make a final investment decision on the project in fall 2010 and potentially close on the land purchase in spring 2011.
