FERC, Delaware Argue Crown Landing Approval Before D.C. Circuit

LNG Daily [subscription required] reports that FERC and the State of Delaware presented oral arguments to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit regarding FERC’s conditional approval of  the proposed Crown Landing LNG terminal. Attorneys representing Delaware argued that the approval was granted improperly as Delaware had not issued required environmental permits, while FERC noted  that the Energy Policy Act of 2005 gave the agency the authority to condition final approval of a project on rece ipt  of all required state permits.
