On December 26, 2007, Quoddy Bay LNG told FERC that it is “not in a position at this time to provide responses to the [FERC] Staff’s October 11, 2007, data request.” The information requests were largely technical in nature, seeking further information regarding certain engineering specifications for the facility. Quoddy Bay cited ongoing negotiations with gas suppliers which may necessitate substantive design changes. Also, the project developer told FERC that it is reviewing a potential mitigation project that could affect the LNG project.
