Gordon Shearer, president and CEO of Weaver’s Cove LNG, told the Standard-Times (Mass.) that he expects his company will pursue an appeal of a U.S. Coast Guard decision to declare the proposed tanker route unsuitable for LNG vessel traffic. Shearer said that the Coast Guard’s analysis was based upon “unprecedented procedural and factual errors.”
