FERC Outlines Jurisdictional Boundaries for Bradwood Landing LNG Proposal

FERC officials told local authorities that though the Commission holds final authority over the siting of onshore LNG import terminals, including the Bradwood Landing proposal, state and local authorities still hold responsibility for several critical permits, including Coastal Zone Management Act and certain land use issues. However, FERC manager Paul Friedman told the Daily News (Longview, Wash.) that FERC could still authorize a project that the county government has rejected.
