The Somerset Conservation Commission on Feb. 12 appealed the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection’s approval of a proposed pipeline that would transport natural gas from the FERC-approved Weaver’s Cove LNG terminal in Fall River, Mass. The commission members allege, among other things, that the DEP’s superseding order, which overturned the local commission’s rejection order, is based on information that was not made available to the commission.
