Environmental Report on Proposed Keltic LNG Terminal Expected Today

According to project developers, the Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board is expected to recommend approval of the proposed Keltic LNG terminal, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions. However, a lawyer for terminal operator 4Gas Ltd. expressed guarded optimism and said that he is awaiting the release of the full report, which is expected today. Nova Scotia’s environment minister has 21 days to review the report and may impose additional conditions.
