Crown Landing Approval Still Faces Hurdles

Following FERC’s approval of BP’s Crown Landing LNG terminal, the Courier-Post Online reports that additional hurdles must be cleared before construction of the $600 million facility can begin.  In addition to getting approval from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and a win in the U.S. Supreme Court over a jurisdictional dispute with Delaware, BP must also secure arrangements with local officials over the costs of LNG transportation in the Delaware River.
