Op-ed: 10 Reasons to Support Tidal/LNG Project in Maine

Normand Laberge, head of Tidewalker Associates, writes in The Bangor Daily News “10 reasons the federal government should support the initiative” to construct a tidal- and LNG-driven power plant adjacent to a Navy communications facility in Cutler, Maine.  According to Laberge, the project would bring energy to the Navy site and jobs to the local community, and would avoid Canadian opposition to LNG terminals in Passamaquoddy Bay.
