Vote on AGL Pipeline Bill Delayed

House Bill 1325, originally scheduled for a vote last Friday in the Georgia Senate, was removed from the calendar Friday and remains off of the calendar today. LNGLawBlog sources have indicated that the legislation stalled on Friday, but committee contacts expect it to come to a vote during one of the last two working days of the regular session. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the legislature is running out of time to vote on dozens of bills before the end of the regular session and leadership is threatening a special session to complete necessary business.
