CA Energy Commission Requests SES CEII Material on Behalf of Multiple State Agencies

Today the California Energy Commission (CEC) submitted a formal request with FERC for access to all Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (CEII) in the Sound Energy Solutions (SES) docket.  According to the CEC, disclosure of the requested information is necessary for the “State/Commission consultations” required under the Energy Policy Act of 2005.  Notably, the request and accompanying non-disclosure agreement was executed on behalf of more than 60 state employees from the Governor’s Office, the CEC, the Public Utilities Commission, the Coastal Commission and the State Lands Commission.  The request is available in the FERC e-Library at Docket No. CP04-58.
