Sempra LNG To Sell LNG At Reduced Price As Result of Broader Settlement

Today’s Platts LNG Daily reports that as a result of Sempra Energy’s settlement resolving a number of class-action lawsuits related to the 2000-2001 energy crisis, Sempra LNG will reduce the price by $0.02/MMBtu at which it sells regasified LNG to SoCal Gas and San Diego Gas & Electric.  The LNG will be imported through the Energia Costa Azul LNG terminal currently under construction in Baja California.  [Subscription required]
