Canadian Environmental Minister Determines Comprehensive Study Required for Proposed Keltic LNG Terminal

The Canadian Minister of the Environment has determined that the proposed Keltic LNG terminal in Goldboro, Nova Scotia, must undergo a comprehensive environmental assessment in order to obtain authorization.  The assessment will include review of the construction, operation and maintenance of the proposed facility, including the regasification plant, the marine transfer pipelines, storage tanks, and the marginal wharf.  The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency has established reference number 05-03-10471 for this matter, and more information is available here.  CNW Group has the full story.
