The Alaska Gasline Development Corporation announced that today it filed an application to obtain a Natural Gas Act Section 3 permit with FERC for its proposed Alaska LNG project, which is comprised of a gas treatment plant located at Prudhoe Bay, an 800-mile pipeline to Southcentral Alaska, and a natural gas liquefaction plant in Nikiski to produce LNG for export. (Crowley) and Eagle LNG Partners (Eagle) announced that Eagle has begun construction of a new LNG bunkering facility on Crowley’s property at Jaxport’s Talleyrand Marine Terminal in Jacksonville, Fla.
