DOE Grants Non-FTA Export Authority to Eagle LNG Partners Jacksonville

The U.S. Department of Energy (“DOE”) has issued an order authorizing Eagle LNG Partners Jacksonville LLC (“Eagle LNG”) to export domestically produced LNG from its proposed LNG facility at Jacksonville, Fla., to nations without a free trade agreement (non-FTA) with the United States. Eagle LNG is authorized to export 0.14 Bcf/day of natural gas (49.8 Bcf/year or 1.0 million metric tons per annum (mtpa)) of LNG over a 20-year term.
