Cameron LNG Requests 15-Month Extension to Complete and Place Terminal Into Service

Cameron LNG has filed a letter with FERC requesting a 15-month extension, to September 19, 2020, to complete and place its liquefaction and LNG export terminal at Hackberry, La., into service. The letter states that Cameron LNG is currently in the final commissioning phase of Train 1 and is completing construction of Trains 2 and 3. On May 20, 2019, FERC authorized Cameron LNG to export by vessels the volumes of LNG produced related to commissioning activities at the terminal.
