Pivotal LNG and Crowley Sign Contract to Supply Puerto Rico Pharmaceutical Company
Pivotal LNG (Pivotal) announced that it has executed another multiyear contract to supply LNG to Carib Energy (USA) LLC, a subsidiary of Crowley Maritime Corp. (Crowley), for a major pharmaceutical company’s energy needs. According to the press release, the LNG will be transported by Crowley from one of Pivotal’s LNG supply points to the pharmaceutical company’s facility in Puerto Rico. As with Pivotal’s existing LNG contracts with Crowley, LNG is loaded into Crowley’s ISO containers at one of Pivotal’s LNG supply sources in the southeast. These ISO containers are transported via truck to Jacksonville, Florida, then loaded onto Crowley-owned marine vessels bound for San Juan. Crowley then delivers the LNG to its customers in Puerto Rico.
