DOE Releases LNG Export Data through March 2017

The U.S. Department of Energy has released its LNG Monthly data covering U.S. LNG exports from January 2017 through March 2017.  The data indicate the following cargoes of domestically produced LNG were shipped from Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Cameron Parish, La. during March 2017:  three to Mexico, two each to South Korea and Jordan, and one each to Pakistan, Turkey,...

Dominion Cove Point Terminal Construction 89 Percent Complete

Dominion Energy Cove Point LNG has submitted a status report to FERC covering construction at its LNG export terminal at Lusby, Md. through April 2017.  The report states that engineering and engineered equipment procurement is essentially complete, and construction is 89.0% complete.    

Magnolia LNG Cleared to Begin Initial Site Preparation

FERC has issued a notice granting Magnolia LNG permission to commence initial site preparation activities for the Magnolia LNG Project in Lake Charles, La.  The approval does not grant Magnolia LNG the authority to commence construction of project facilities at the LNG terminal.
