State Corporation Takes Over Alaska LNG Project

The Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (AGDC) announced that it has reached an agreement with affiliates of ExxonMobil, BP and ConocoPhillips, whereby AGDC will assume the responsibility for the technical and regulatory activities associated with the proposed Alaska LNG project, consisting of an 800-mile pipeline to access North Slope gas supplies, a liquefaction and LNG export terminal, and associated facilities.  AGDC, which represents the State of Alaska’s interest in the Alaska LNG project, is an independent, public corporation of the State of Alaska.
