Port Arthur LNG Files FERC Application

Port Arthur LNG, LLC (Port Arthur) has filed applications with FERC for authority to construct and operate a liquefaction and LNG export terminal at the City of Port Arthur, Texas and an interconnected pipeline.  The Liquefaction Project will include two liquefaction trains each capable of producing under optimal conditions 6.73 million tonnes of LNG per annum (“MTPA”) or approximately 13.5 MTPA in the aggregate.  Port Arthur intends to begin construction of the Liquefaction Project in the third quarter of 2018, and expects the first liquefaction train to be completed and in service in the first quarter of 2023, and the second liquefaction train to be completed and in service in the third quarter of 2023.
