DOE Releases LNG Export Data for September 2016

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has released data showing U.S. LNG import and export activity through September 2016.  The report shows that during September, five cargoes of domestically produced LNG were exported via vessel from the Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Cameron Parish, La., one cargo each to Mexico, Jordan, India, Turkey and Kuwait at prices ranging from $4.73 to $6.28/MMBtu.  Five cargoes of domestically produced LNG were exported in ISO containers from the Hialeah facility near Medley, Fla. through Miami to Barbados, each at $10.00/MMBtu.
