Alaska LNG Project Files Second Draft Resource Reports

Alaska LNG Project has filed with FERC second drafts of Resource Reports 1 (General Project Description) and 10 (Alternatives) as part of FERC’s pre-filing environmental review process. The Alaska LNG Project, sponsored by the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation, BP Alaska LNG LLC, ConocoPhillips Alaska LNG Company, and ExxonMobil Alaska LNG LLC, was formed for the purpose of liquefying supplies of natural gas from the Point Thomson Unit and Prudhoe Bay Unit production fields on the Alaska North Slope, for export in foreign commerce and for in-state deliveries. The project includes the following facilities: an approximately 804-mile gas pipeline running from the North Slope to a liquefaction facility near Nikiski in southcentral Alaska, and a gas treatment plant and transmission lines interconnecting to the production fields on the North Slope. The Draft Resource Reports can be found on FERC’s eLibrary by searching Docket No. PF14-21.
