Malaysian state oil company Petronas, primary sponsor of the proposed Pacific NorthWest LNG export terminal in British Columbia, issued a press release stating that it “is proactively taking steps to mature the project towards its Final Investment Decision” and, once a federal environmental assessment report is completed, it will review the report’s findings and the LNG market outlook and present an investment decision to its shareholders.
