Crowley LNG Files for Canadian Export License

Crowley LNG, Inc. has filed an application with the Canadian National Energy Board to export up to 10 Bcf/year of LNG over 25 years to the United States and its territories. The LNG to be exported will be produced at the Tilbury LNG Plant in Delta, British Columbia and/or the Mount Hayes LNG Plant on Vancouver Island, both owned by FortisBC Energy Inc. LNG for export may also be sourced from the Elmworth LNG Plant in Elmworth, Alberta, which is owned by Ferus Natural Gas Fuels, Inc. The LNG may be exported via vessel or containers loaded onto trucks or barges.
