Analyst: Window of Opportunity for New LNG Projects Closed

The Financial Post reports that Noel Tomnay, vice-president global gas and LNG research for Wood Mackenzie, stated in an interview that due to a global LNG supply glut “the window of opportunity [for new LNG export projects] closed over six months ago for everyone, not just for Canada.”  Tomnay predicted that the two leading proposed Canadian LNG export projects, led by Shell Canada and Petronas, may delay final investment decisions on their projects for a few years.
