Steelhead LNG and Malahat First Nation Sign Agreements for Floating LNG Terminal

Steelhead LNG Corp. (Steelhead LNG) and the Malahat First Nation (Malahat Nation) announced completion of a Mutual Benefits Agreement and Long-Term Lease for the development of Malahat LNG, a 6 million tonnes per year floating liquefaction and LNG export terminal facility to be located approximately 8 kilometers south of Mill Bay on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.  Steelhead LNG stated that it is currently assessing pipeline route options to deliver natural gas to Vancouver Island for both Malahat LNG and the proposed LNG project that Steelhead LNG and the Huu-ay-aht First Nations are exploring at Sarita Bay in the Alberni Inlet.
