IEA Report: No Operational B.C. LNG Export Projects Likely Within the Next 5 Years

The Financial Post reports that the International Energy Agency (IEA) has released a report forecasting that none of the LNG export terminal projects proposed for British Columbia will be operational within the next five years. The report notes that none of the sponsors of the 19 or so proposed projects have yet to make a final investment decision (FID), and predicts that FID deferrals are likely due to if current energy market conditions continue.
