FERC Grants Cameron LNG Authorization for LNG Export Terminal

On Thursday, FERC granted Cameron LNG, LLC authorization to build and operate facilities for the liquefaction and export of natural gas from the site of Cameron’s existing LNG import terminal in Cameron, La.  FERC also granted Cameron authorization to build and operate pipeline and compression facilities in three Louisiana parishes to allow for transport of domestically produced natural gas to the Cameron LNG terminal.  Cameron’s export terminal is the second export terminal to be approved by FERC.  FERC’s order granting the authorizations can be viewed here.
