House Subcommittee Hearing Scheduled on LNG Export Bill

The U.S. House Subcommittee on Energy and Power has scheduled a hearing for March 25, 2014, to review H.R. 6, the Domestic Prosperity and Global Freedom Act. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Cory Gardner (R-CO), is intended “to expedite exports of U.S. produced LNG to U.S. allies and would grant immediate approval of complete export applications currently filed with the Department of Energy and modify the process moving forward to ensure exports to U.S. allies are not subject to unnecessary delays.” Read more in the press release.
