House Report Calls on DOE to Approve All Pending LNG Export Applications by the End of 2014

Today, the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee released a policy paper prepared by the majority staff touting the economic and geopolitical benefits of LNG exports and calling on the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to approve all pending LNG export applications by the end of 2014. The report also states that the committee will consider legislative reforms needed to streamline and expedite the approval process for LNG export applications.
