Alaska Lawmakers Reviewing Alaska LNG Proposal

The Juneau Empire reports that Alaska Senate Resources Committee is holding hearings this week on proposed legislation that could make Alaska a partner in the Alaska LNG project, which would consist of a proposed LNG export terminal and interconnected pipeline to access North Slope gas supplies.  According to the report, the bill addresses, among other things, whether the state should participate in the project and, if so, at what percentage.
