Court Hears Arguments on Plan to Export LNG From Dominion Cove Point Terminal

The Maryland Court of Special Appeals heard arguments last week on whether an agreement first signed in 1972 and subsequently amended would prohibit exports of LNG from the Dominion Cove Point LNG terminal in Lusby, Md.  The Sierra Club argued that the agreement does not provide for exports of LNG by sea.  A lower court earlier ruled that such exports are permitted under the agreement.  Read more in The Washington Post article.
