The Vancouver Sun reports that Nexen Inc., owned by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), has signed an agreement for the sole option to purchase Crown Land at Grassy Point, British Columbia, to develop an LNG export terminal. The article states that the proposed LNG project at Grassy Point, Aurora LNG, is owned 60% by Nexen and 40% by Japanese companies INPEX Corp. and JGC Corp.
