Foreign Officials Tell House Panel the Benefits of U.S. LNG Exports

At a forum held last week on the geopolitical implications and mutual benefits of U.S. LNG exports, representatives from ten foreign nations told the U.S. House Energy and Power Subcommittee that permitting U.S. LNG exports to their nations would increase global energy security and improve diplomatic relations between the United States and their countries. Officials from Hungary and the Czech Republic told the panel that access to U.S. LNG would provide competition to Russian gas supplies, driving down prices to consumers.
