Delfin LNG Files for DOE FTA Export Authority

Delfin LNG LLC filed an application with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for authority to export, on behalf of itself and others, up to 1.8 Bcf/day of LNG from a proposed floating liquefaction facility located in West Cameron Block 167, Gulf of Mexico to nations with a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States. Delfin states that it will subsequently file an application to export LNG to non-FTA nations. Delfin’s application can be found here.
