ConocoPhillips Considering Reopening Kenai LNG Export Terminal

The Alaska Journal of Commerce reports that ConocoPhillips is evaluating the feasibility of reopening its Kenai, Alaska, LNG export terminal in response to the Alaska Department of Natural Resources’ (DNR) request that ConocoPhillips apply for a new license to export LNG from the terminal. DNR made the request to provide an additional market to stimulate gas exploration and production in the Cook Inlet area.
