Senate Energy Committee Hears Testimony on LNG Exports

The U.S. Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee heard testimony from a variety of witnesses at a hearing today on estimates of domestic natural gas supply and the potential benefits or unintended consequences caused by expansion of natural gas exports. According to a Law360 article, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) acting Assistant Secretary Christopher Smith told the Committee that pending DOE LNG applications may take 60 days to process.
