FERC Vacates AES Ocean Express Import Pipeline Authorization

Today, FERC issued an order vacating authorization for AES Ocean Express, LLC to construct and operate a pipeline to transport gas from an interconnection with a proposed pipeline leading from a proposed LNG terminal in the Bahamas to Broward County, Fla. Neither the LNG terminal nor pipelines have been constructed and AES Ocean Express, LLC has not sought to extend the in-service date past January 29, 2012 deadline.
