Cambridge Energy Group affiliates, CE FLNG, LLC and CE Pipeline, LLC (CE), have requested that FERC initiate pre-filing environmental review of CE’s proposal to construct and operate two floating liquefaction, storage and offloading (FLSO) units, each capable of producing up to 4 MTPA of LNG between Mile Markers 11.8 to 13.5 on the east side of the Mississippi River near Baptiste Collette Bayou in Plaquemines Parish, La. The units will have an LNG storage capacity of 250,000 m3. The proposed facilities would permit natural gas to be received by a proposed interconnected pipeline, liquefied, and loaded from the FLSO unit’s storage tanks onto LNG carriers berthed alongside.
