Bloomberg reports that Ernest Moniz, nominee for U.S. Department of Energy Secretary, was a director of a study concluding that the U.S. should not erect barriers to LNG exports. The report also states, however, that Moniz is supportive of regulatory efforts to address environmental issues related to hydraulic fracturing.
