Shell Canada JV Receives National Energy Board LNG Export License

The Calgary Herald reports that Canada’s National Energy Board (NEB) has granted authority to LNG Canada Development Inc., a joint venture among Shell Canada Ltd., Korea Gas Corp., Mitsubishi Corp. and PetroChina Co. Ltd., to export up to 3.23 Bcf/day (24 million tonnes/year) of LNG from a proposed terminal near Kitimat, British Columbia.
