BG Group representatives recently told local officials that they do not expect a final investment decision on their proposed LNG terminal on Ridley Island, British Columbia until sometime in 2013. The first LNG exports are not expected to begin until late 2019 or early 2020 after completing an environmental assessment and a four year construction schedule.
