In a comment to Platts LNG Daily [subscription required], the project manager for Jamaica’s planned LNG import project said that the country’s government remains committed to the project. His comments followed the appointment of Phillip Paulwell as Minister of Mining and Energy.
Separately, an op-ed piece carried by the Jamaica Gleaner notes that LNG imports to Jamaica could face a number of market challenges.
