Spectra Says Shell Consortium Planning 1.8 Bcf/d LNG Export Project in British Columbia

Noting his company’s involvement in the development of LNG projects in Western Canada, a spokesperson for Spectra Energy told the Globe and Mail that Shell and its partners, Korea Gas Corp., China National Petroleum Co., and Mitsubishi Corp., are planning an LNG export project in British Columbia with liquefaction capacity of 1.8 Bcf/d.
