Nexen Seeking Asian Partners for LNG Export Project

Officials with Nexen told Bloomberg yesterday that they recently traveled to Asia with the goal of forming a joint venture to develop natural gas plays in Western Canada. Nexen CEO Marvin Romanov said that his company was specifically interested in finding a partner “with good contacts in LNG.”
